Q. I'm a Chemical Engineer and I'm planning to migrate to Australia. I've asked around regarding the professional fees of migration agents who could help me process my application for a Permanenet Residency Visa, and it's around AUS$ 2,500 to 3,500. This is on top of all other fees I have to pay for the visa application itself. Is this the normal range? Would I really need a migration agent or can it be done without one? Thanks. Asked by engineer.chemical - Fri Mar 28 23:27:53 2008 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments A. Honestly I've never heard of someone using a migration agent. If you look at it should have all you need, don't waste your money on an agent. Answered by Mel - Sat Mar 29 05:23:05 2008 How can an Australian permanent resident apply for his parent's migration?

One takes a very long time (10+ years) to be granted and isn't terribly expensive (a Parent visa), and the other (a Contibutory Parent visa), doesn't take very long to be granted (18 months - 2 years), but is VERY expensive. A Parent visa for parents applying from outside Australia costs AUD$3185 for 1 parent and $4665 for both. A Contributory Parent visa is $36035 for 1 parent and $70365 for both (can be paid in 2 unequal… [cont.] Answered by Ozmaniac - Mon Nov 30 20:33:03 2009 From Yahoo Answer Search: "migration" |
